eLDERBERRY sWEET tEA

This recipe is an easy way to make a big batch of elderberry sweet tea for the whole family. Any Elderberry Syrup Mama’s loose leaf tea blend fits this recipe perfectly. Stores in the fridge for up to 3 weeks.

  • Total Time 6 Minutes
  • Serves 16 People

Ingredients

  • 1/3c Any Elderberry Syrup Mama's Loose Leaf Tea Blend
  • 1 gallon Filtered Water
  • 3/4c Sugar

Instructions

  1. Steep loose leaf tea in approximately 4c hot (not boiling) water for amount of time on package (anywhere from 3-6 minutes).
  2. Strain berries and tea leaves (carefully as leaves and berries will be hot!)
  3. Add sugar and remainder of cold water, stir and let cool in the fridge overnight.

Notes

The amount of tea used can vary depending on strong or weak you like your teaThe amount of sugar you choose to use can vary based on your personal taste.To speed up the cooling process for same day enjoyment, add 6 cups ice and 6 cups cold water.
